Hardware Requirements

KASM Workspaces can be install and run on many Linux distributions. The hardware requirements are not too bad, with 2 CPU cores and 4GB RAM to get started.

You will want to give the KASM server more RAM and storage space if you plan on setting up a lot of containers workspaces. For my KASM server, I gave it 16GB RAM and 4 vCPU cores to run all the different container apps I have setup.
